I have seen some people post neat images of their collections, and I thought it would be a fun process... I have also enjoyed trying to photograph coins, and I wanted to work with some slabbed ones. The lighting options were a bit daunting. I decided to focus on the Franklin half dollar. It would have been easier to focus on a small set, but this was what I chose. I am happy with how this worked out. I think that I will work on silver Roosevelts next, as I am undecided about getting all of the Franklin pr's. I do wish that I could have captured more of the color from the toning on some of these, but I haven't found a great way to do that without reflecting the silly slabs. I also did not appreciate the nicks and smudges that I couldn't clean or polish out of the slabs. I hope that you like it! I welcome any advice.

I can’t snap a decent photo to save my life. But I do love a Franklin. Nice work! Wish I could snap a photo that well.
