Hello...I am glad I finally found a site where we can share each others interests! Let me introduce myself just a little...I have been coin and currency collecting since 6 years old...my very first piece was a 1928-D Lincoln Cent Wheat Cent. I was so intrigued by it's difference compared to the Memorial cents at the time. While others was playing with G.I. Joes...I was playing with Witman Folders :D . My very first currency piece was a 1935-G Smith-Dillon Silver Certificate. It's beauty just rocked my world...and mind you at being at 8, it didn't take much. Again while my friends were spending money on candy; I was inspected my own dollar bills for errors and discrepencies. Now, with a collection of over 300,000 coins...mostly US with about 25,000 foreign, and not to mention 10,000 Currency specimens; with about 90% US...you can understand my passion for the hobby. Thanks for reading my blabber!

    Welcome!!

Welcome, Dave! I'm relatively new myself. This is a great place to discuss coin/currency collecting and to learn lots of interesting things about related topics.

I must say, I envy your dedication and tenacity toward collecting. From what you've stated, it certainly appears all of your earlier efforts have come to some fine fruition.

Not an easy task. Here is one of my prizes...1737 Higley Copper...sorry the pic didn't come out the way it's supposed too...if anyone knows how to work these digital cameras PROPERLY...I am all ears. :)
