figured I'd share... So while there, exchanging straps for new ones, I heard that all too familiar "silver" jingle. The guy at the "penny arcade" was racking up some reject coins. Apparently the machine goes by weight and size. The machine rejected 3 silver quarters and 1 silver dime. I offered the guy a dollar for his .85 cents worth of change, but he just gave it to me instead. Then I find out a friend is a teller at a TD, so now he's gonna keep an eye on the reject bin for me. Couldn't have had a better day. Anyone else have a good time at TD (formerly commerce)?
They are building a brand new TD Bank 5 minutes from my house. I look forward to turning in my unwanted coins AND checking the reject bin. Mostly the reject bin.
I was just at a TD Bank today counting my change. Someone left a clad quarter in the tray, and there was a corroded penny in the reject bin. So I walked away $0.26 richer. No silver though
