I'm interested in seeing coins, medals, and tokens that you bought just because of the captivating design. I've always been smitten by strikes with elegant visuals. I'm sure there are more out there that I haven't seen than I have. I'm sure others would be interested as well.

There are some of the German States that I absolutely love the symbols of. Here are four.

This one is mundane as compared to some of the others in this thread. And honestly, it was a bullion purchase for me at the time and I have grown quite fond of the design since. I just love the bold eagle.

 

Really nice reverse.

 

I bought a coin with a boat on it because I like boats. That's about it, but I love this one.

This is my favorite design and it's my icon for my coin sites.... a France 1790 5 soles

 

gonna add another here as i'm bored and I did buy this one for no other reason then I fell in love with it at 1st sight...
