I let this coin fool me.

I bought this coin 32 years ago as an MS-62. It looked like a great coin for my Dansco. I took the lines in the fields as die polish lines. I trust PCGS got it correct. I can now see that some of the lines, cross the devices. What are your thoughts on the coin? Please point out any other signs of cleaning that you are seeing.
The slab image is too washed out to be of much use.

It has a dullish look which might mean that has been cleaned. These coins came with roughed up fields. The fields are not perfectly smooth as they often are on most coins.

This one is graded MS-65 in an "old fatty" NGC holder. I think that the piece is nice for that grade.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Yes, I think PCGS got it right. The uniform pale whiteness would be another indicator for me, although it does appear to be re-gaining patina in some places.

It does appear to have been cleaned but not drastically. The tone looks to be preserved, and the patina enhances its appearance. A bit of harm but still a nice coin.
