I sent in a complaint about several fake Panda's and in 24hrs the listing's were removed. Maybe they are starting to listen to us... Dear eBay Member, Thank you for writing eB0ay to report these potentially violating listings to us. I have thoroughly investigated your report, and have confirmed that the items were in violation of the eBay Selling Coins policy. As such, I have removed the listings from the eBay site. If you happen to see any listings you may feel violate our Coins and Currency policies, please feel free to report them via the following link: http://www.ebay.com/ccw Please note that ONLY Coins and Currency violations should be reported here. Other types of violations sent here will be delayed as they are redirected to the appropriate department. Please see the following page for eBay's policies regarding the sale of coins: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/selling-coins.html Thanks again for your report. Sincerely, Akira eBay Customer Support
Nice. I wish every buyer using ebay would read the policies in the link listed above. This would ensure that the buyer is aware that there are some slabs listing companies that are either not very respected or just plain bogus. And that would, of course, lead to more research by the buyer which is always a wonderful thing before spending money.
Well, that amazes me.. made me go and check the weather for a little town down the road a bit from where I live.. Its confirmed folks.. He!!, MI. is 19 degrees today and has in fact frozen over!
This is a good start. What needs to be done henceforth is to get the U.S. government to place a greater emphasis on enforcing the hobby act (law). I wish we could get the Chinese government to change their laws pertaining to "replica" coins.
