I see that diagonal line you are talking about behind the ear, but the photo is so dark that i can't tell whether it is a die crack and whether it travels up to the rim of the coin. I wonder if you could lighten the photos just a little bit. Maybe others with stronger peepers will be able to tell you whether that is a die crack or not from these photos.

Thanks for the better shots, but... nope...what I thought I saw, I no longer see. That diagonal line just seems to be part of the chin line and hair pattern.
