Hi, I recently inherited coins that i would like to sell but I am having the hardest time. The World coin price guide is very confusing to me and i cant figure it out at all.

I have identified most of the coins tn the collection (denomination, composition, country and year) and i was wondering is there some sort of website or system or something easier where i can upload pictures and descriptions of each in one place and people would just come and buy it. I know it sounds very silly but i have been struggling with this for a while now.

Thanks for any and all help!

Numista is a good site for identifying foreign coins. Most often, just a word or two entered off the coin will narrow it down enough to know what you have. I believe there is also an opportunity to trade. Not sure about selling though.

You will get all the info you need about what the coins are, how much they are worth and how best to go about selling them if you post pictures of them here. You don't necessarily need to photograph each one individually, just a large enough picture of a group of them side by side. That will be enough to get an idea of what is worth photographing for follow-up or individual sale and what is not.

If you have coins from India( Mughal Empire, India Princely states, Colonies, British India or post Independence), I can give you a good idea of the going market rates. you will have to post the coin pictures other details for me.

Foreign coins (not from the USA) are worth anything from "a lot" to "nothing". The only thing that is guaranteed is that silver coins are worth at least the melt value. To sell any of these, you must have a buyer. Many coin dealers lump the majority of their non-US coins in a box and sell them for a quarter. If you have some coins you feel are worth something, if you post pictures here, you will get a good price since you are dealing with collectors (and dealers). Quick check is to see what realized prices are on e-bay.
