    Oh Boy. I hate going first . Here we go . Please don't get mad . :nailbiting:
    Just my limited analysis : I think the Toning or Stain on the Obverse and the scratch on the reverse might not get a MS in the lower numbers range .

    @paddyman98 Wouldn't a woody show on both sides? The improperly mixed allow should go all the way through. Or, is this an anomaly that can happen?

    @Inspector43
    Good question. I've seen Improperly Mixed Alloy coins showing the affect on one side only. Just like an Occluded Gas Bubble can show just on one side.
    IMHO :angelic:

    I've seen British coins from Specimen sets that look like that. Just a random comment.

    I think you are still going to get Mint State, Maybe MS 63 ish.... I see some rim troubles but there really isn't signs of wear to any of the devices that prove circulation conclusively in my opinion.

    The Canada cent was an Alloy: 95.5% copper, 3% tin and 1.5% zinc

    Woody (improperly mixes alloy) can be on both sides of the coin, but it doesn't have to be, depends on where the blobs/chunks of the improper mixed alloy wind up when it's rolled out and punched to planchets. if present on both sides, it should flow in the same direction as the sheet was rolled, as the blobs of unalloyed metal smear and stretch out, but if the appearance is way too uniform "lines" it's going to be roller lines from rolling the sheet metal instead, which I have seen a lot of lately on ebay, roller lines trying to be sold as a woody.

    my "educated guess" though is this sat in an album maple leaf up for a long time date side showing and that toned more than the reverse, and that the improper alloy mix on the reverse is just further along in toning from having more exposure to the environment and closer to each other in color and less dramatic of a color difference.

    Apparently "woody" isn't much of a thing for canadian cents as far as looking online for it as it is with the lincoln cents. that's too bad.

    Thanks everyone. The rim shows a tiny contact mark .and until I took photo I didn't see the mark under leaf on right.its been in a metal box Buckingham cigarettes that my aunt stored them in for 60 or 70 years .merry Christmas.

    Yes, I have several US Cents that sat in albums for years. The side that is in constant contact with the adhesive residue will quite often have dark bars.
