I have a question for everyone are there any1975 penny verieties that have a close AM ?

    Are there supposed to be 1975 pennies with a close AM, because I cannot find one anywhere except.........

    I have seen no information regarding close AM for the 1970’s or 1980’s…Spark

    Because I always believed they were wide AMs until they changed to CAM in 1992

    1988 has a "wide AM" but it's more of a flared G in the FG than any difference in the AM of America.

    Normal 1992 is RDV-006, The close variety is RVD-007.

    So I wonder how this could occur im sure there's a perfectly reasonable answer I just need to find it .

    Ok so once I transferred my pics to a photo editor I was able to find the answer to my question there is a little machine doubling which at low magnification gives the appearance of the A and M slightly touching . The editor showed me I was mistaking sorry for wasting your time guys. But thank you for your replies. Have an awesome day all of you.

    No problem at all, the link I provided of variety vista is a good resource for these types of things, as well as RPMs and all that jazz. even if it seems like nothing was gained, that was certainly gained!

    Good luck, you won't find it if you don't look for it!
