    Now that's an excellent double struck coin. Don't be to quick to sell it without shopping it around. You should get a nice premium for it, assuming that's your intention. Congratulations!

    Nice! IMO, this is a perfect candidate for a PCGS or NGC slab.

    Is there any concern with the amount of the 1st strike showing through the second strike?

    I'm not an expert with these at all...but I would think some would be normal. The die is designed to strike a flat surface on the planchet. If that surface was not flat (because it had been struck before)...I would think some of the design from the original striking would show through to a degree. I'm just guessing, but that makes sense to me.
