I found this offensive item

in my box of dimes today:



Needless to say, I'm not happy about it.

HOWEVER.....

I found 6 silver dimes and I'm still not done with the box, so I guess I can't really complain.

why is it offensive? its most likely used for teaching children about money. we had them at school but obviously in pound stearling instead of us currency

 

It's offensive because I paid for real dimes not plastic ones. That cheap plastic dime cost me 10 cents! And it doesn't even look like Roosevelt!!!

 

But its only 10 cents :scratch:

 

Not that bad looking... all my plastic dimes have "copy" molded in.

 

I thought by offensive you meant you had found something like a token with a good luck swastika.

 

Agreed... regular plastic dimes aren't really that offensive.

 

Looks like its got nice full bands to me. Maybe go MS63...

 

Geez, the Chinese counterfitters are getting lazy...

 

Unfortunatly most all of its play money nowadays lol.

I get 5+ boxes a week of pennies and every few boxes I get a darn plastic play money penny.. kinda ****es me off.. I mean really.. how'd that end up there in an unopened roll of pennies from NF string & son? anyway, for some reason I don't throw them away so I've got quite a collection of 'em now lol
