I am looking for a reputable place to see what these are worth. I know some are valuable from my google RESEARCH! Silver dollar PEACE 1922 coin, half dollar Liberty Standing 1944, Lincoln cents etc.
    Any help would be appreciated!

The silver dollar is the most common year of the peace dollar so unless it is in like perfect condition it's not worth too much over silver price (about $25). Lincoln cents can get expensive if you have rare dates so if you list them we could give better estimates.

The best thing to do is to post clear photos of the coins so we can look at them. Coins are valuable based on both rare dates and condition. As was said, the 1922 Peace Dollar is very common and is only worth it's silver melt value unless in high grade. But, other coins you have may be valuable even in low grade if you have rare dates. So, post some pics and we will help you out.

THANKS! But.... I really dont want to take them out of their slots. They are old. The collection in tack can be worth something...right?
I Can tell you that I have 2 collections of Lincoln cents 1909-1940 and the other is 1941-. They are not full but almost. I think they were granpa's collection and were passed down to my uncle.
I also have coins from around the world. they are all sealed. So don't want to disrupt them or clean them. I'd like to just take them to a reputable dealer in LA somewhere.

Do the Lincolns have the following holes filled?

    '09-S
    '09-S VDB
    '14-D
    '22 Plain
    '31-S

Those are the money coins in the wheat set.

Get some pics of that one, that's actually THE coin to have in the set. If it's in good shape and genuine, it can easily fetch $1k or more.

Just make sure the dealer is a PCGS or ANA/NGC member. They are asked to follow a code of ethics that is part of their on going membership in these organizations. This will minimize your exposure dealing with a doubious individual. You can contact the organizations direct and ask them to supply names of their better dealers in L.A.

You guys ARE AWESOME! I am a single mom with 2 sons and looking for work. My house is in foreclosure....so selling these could be great! Although it feels sad to sell these.

Welcome to the forum! Here is a listing of some coin clubs in California. Maybe the one nearest to you is one to try. Usually members are happy to give advice. If the folders with the coins are blue and are made by Whitman, it is possible that some damage has been done to the back of the coins ( common problem with older folders), so they will have to be removed sometime to give accurate advice. If you can see front and back of the coin without moving them , then that is OK.

On the 1909 SVDB, look carefully at the date , or photograph it, as often old timers put a regular 1909 or even a spare 1909 S ( no VDB) in the space as you can only see the VDB on the back of the coin. Hoping for the best for you, but please don't buy a new car based on initial reports :)

Well, I took them out and do not see any mark on back. GOOGLED S and VDB. VERY INTERESTING!

The VDB is on the reverse of the coin at the very bottom. http://www.valuable-coin-stories.com/1909-vdb-penny.html
