I finally got pictures!

    Hey everyone, alright, I finally tackled pictures on this proof Canadian cent with... a ... rim clip? The."dip" is in the exact same location on both sides, I like to call it a Rim Dip, found by yours truly!

    I'm not sure that qualifies as a clip. It looks more like a defective planchet that was thin in that area but almost filled out when the coin was stamped.

    If is expanded out, It's a "Mini-clip", if is not expanded out, is what Davidh said. Thin planchet section

    Yes it is a rim clip, about 1% or less. When clips are that small they don't look the way we are used to clips looking but show as that sudden dip in the rim.
