I finally found my first 1998 wide-AM cent!

I found it today in a roll of Brinks-wrapped cents. I looked at the date, spun it around and looked at the AM, and I saw it was wide-AM, then I thought I might have mistaken it for an '88, but sure enough, it was '98! The condition is excellent, and without my grading book, I would say that it is at least MS 60, and probably higher, except for a small brown stain.

So, has anyone else found one of these recently, or even a '99? I didn't think it would even be possible for find one 9 years later.

Congrats on the find! I don't have the patience to cherry-pick through rolls, but obviously there are treasures waiting to be found, ha...

I found a '99 earlier in the summer, and found a '98 too.

Yeah, $500 is not too far off, based on recent examples sold on eBay.
