my friend Luis a fellow numismatist died they found him in the kitchen face down, just sad... life is so fragile
Very sorry you lost your friend, @kaosleeroy108. Remember him well, and make another friend in his honor.
Sorry for your loss. Glad you felt comfortable trusting in us with your grief. Hoping you find peace in the good memories of your friend.
The older I get, the more family and friends have gone on to the other side. Including my mother. I hold them all in my head and heart, and look forward to seeing them again on the other side of the veil. Meanwhile, I continue to hold dear the relationships I have with those who continue to walk this earthly plane with me.
It's hard to lose a friend and a fellow numismatist. I remember Lenny Finn from my days in the Boston area. He was a middle class collector who had great treasure, one of the few notes left from when Massachusetts became the first government in the western world to issue paper money. His piece is now in the Smithsonian collection with a personal note about who owned it. I have one of his coins to help me remember, a 1776 English guinea. The reason it was part of collection is obvious.
