    [/SIZE]    Spread is the (degree) of separation of the doubled devices and in this case, can be seen on the "3" and the letter "R" of trust. Also, on the date and TRUST, there are area's where the spread is not enough to show separation, but instead just shows as a thicker number or letter.

    A nice rotated repunched mintmark that shows on the top serif and below the primary mintmark.    [/SIZE]

    The mintmark when hit with the second blow, was slightly rotated in the hand of the person and shows as a second image on the top serif (projection of letter).....sometimes seen as a statement" notching of serif"... and also the bottom edge of the second mm shows under the primary one.

    new words here, CW= counterclockwise direction for the secondary image , K-5 means , if the coin was a clock, look at 5 o'clock position. Lighter spread means not as much as first part.

    [/SIZE]    There are 2 other dies being mentioned that produce doubling of this side of the coin also, and they are stronger ( spread, more visible)....stronger and light being subjective here...some express spread in degrees ( 1/360 of a complete circle)
