You need to show photos of column 7. There's no way we can tell if it is 1dr-016 with a photo of the last column.

There is no 16 listed over at CC, which is why I claim it. What list are you referencing?

Am I to understand that Wex picks up where CC leaves off? In which case I need a bigger number.

Oh sorry, I was checking 2006 die 16.

I think yours is just a plating issue.

Send it in, then? I'd love to have a new listing on coppercoins to look out for. Especially one as strong as this (if, in fact, it turns out to be a DDR)

I'll tell you what. There is a small attribution fee for coppercoins.com. If you send it in and it does turn out to be a new die, I will pay the attribution fee for you. If it turns out it is NOT a doubled die, then you have to pay for it yourself.

I'd have a better legal standing paying up front.

on these darn zincoln coins the copper plating problems is really confusing. sometimes it still even tricks me a little and I have collected error coins for close to 50 years. when the zinc starts to rot and swell outwards it can cause all kinds of things to look different.

So that is your answer for all the ddr's on cc after 83?

no... I was just talking about the problems of the zinc rot in our copper plated cents.

Ah, I see the problem now. The coin was struck sideways, as evidenced by the picture. :)
