I could not believe it when a fellow I met after writing an article about World Samples Slabs contacted me. He told me he had a complete set of this ICG series, I thanked him for his complements about my article, we kept in touch and then he asked for my address so he could send me this complete set of ICG World Samples Slabs. I hope you all enjoy them All the best Alan
looks like a funeral parlour with all the plastic coffins......................coins are nice though shame about the slabs
+1 When they are yours you can do what you want with them. Topic here is about slabs. They are nice coins indeed.
Ah! yes your opinion... that is the unfortunate thing about forums... that and the other thing everyone has and insists on utilizing to muck up threads. :rollling: The point was your comment was rather uncalled for as the OP was proudly sharing something he was happy about after the result of some work he obviously spent a lot more time researching than you did degrading (pun intended). If the coins were yours you might have a thread and boast about cracking them out, reviving the dead as you feel they have no life. Look, the OP collects the coins in special slabs and researches and writes about them to share with others. Have a look at the depth of his article, maybe you'll learn something about plastic you never knew. The OP did a commendable job, for which he received these fine coins in special slabs.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I am very proud of these sample slabs, and I feel very fortunate to have been given them. Thanks krispy for noticing the amount of research that goes into my articles. All the Best Alan
Hey Cody How about this one does it pop out to you. I hope you enjoy this one All the best my friend Alan
To tell you the truth I just can't remember what they sold for, it belong to a friend, but I do remember it was expensive. I have a couple of these multi holders and they are very cool, but mine are not samples. But with the hobby becoming very popular I won't be surprised to see more of them for sale. They only make 50 of these kinds of samples, so they can be hard to find. I also find sellers of any samples are trying to cash in on the hobby lately by raising the prices. I just saw a guy trying to sell five or six of a same year single sample slab for $700.00 LOL They use to go for about $10.00 each, and if you look hard enough you can still find some.LOL It shows just how popular the hobby is becoming. All the best Alan
