because it looks like the Indian head on the front is crying a tear.

But anyways I was just wondering if this could possibly be another lamination error.

I know this coin wont have any value considering it has no date but i just wanted to know.

On the obverse there is a certain spot that makes it look the Indian head has an extra braid of hair, which i think is cool.

On the reverse if you look at the word 'Unum' there seems to be a blob that reaches down across the 'M' and extends to the buffalo.

Overall i just think its a cool coin to have.

    Thanks for your input.

Looks like a 1920 to me. Is that the top of a "D" mintmark I see on the reverse? I can't quite tell. Does look like there might be a tiny bit of lamination going on in the area you mentioned, but unfortunately it also looks like somebody chewed on the top of the reverse a bit (i.e. PMD - definite post mint damage there). You're probably right that this one won't have much monetary value, but it does have some "character".

White vinegar. They tried to bring up the date and mint mark with it. The smoothed-out surface gives it away. Give it another dip, up to a week, see what it says, then.
