Safeway. The service desk processes bank deposits for the store, they separate the halves and dollar coins from the smaller ones. I also ask at 7-11 and Circle K.

 

I've gotten 40% and 90% Kennedy's from this service desk and silver in their CoinStar.

Nice, never thought of asking at the supermarket. Certainly worth a try.

 

I worked at another company under Albertsons, which Safeway is. Shaws here in Maine, NH, and maybe Connecticut.

I had people come for coins and as the in-store service desk collector, I saved them all for myself
