Last month I watched an auction and did not win the 3 coins I targeted. I did win one I was not watching. The auction company first notified me of my high bid and then sent an invoice. I emailed them and asked if there was an error. No reply.... No reply.... Since the cost was modest, I paid the invoice (and PayPal said the $ went through). About 10 days later my account was credited the money I sent. Still no reply from the auction company. I hope someone wanted the coin and were glad it was not sent to me by mistake. Peculiar story. I was once sent an invoice for some RR denarii, and a reminder to pay. It however was listed on someone else's name. Things like that happen, I guess. Reminds me of another story, where I almost did win an EID MAR denarius. But then I woke up :-(
