Here's another section that will interest both British Commonwealth & Indian Princely States numismatists. It is about the coins of Hyderabad, whose monarch was called the Nizam.Hyderabad's last coins were issued in 1948,shortly after it became an independent monarchy, but just before it was invaded.Hyderabad was the largest Indian Princely State. The Hyderabadi Rupee was an independent currency valued at a higer rate than the Indian Rupee. Some of the Hyderabadi coins coins display a Toughra similar to the ones on the coins of Bahawalpur & Pakistan. If you have got a Hyderabadi coin, please post photos,if possible. Aidan.
