First of all, the note is from Austria. If you want to be technical -- the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It is listed under Austria in the Pick Catalog. It is Pick 12.

The CV on the regular issue note -- are you ready for this? -- is VG/.50 Fine/2.00 EF/6.00. Based on the scan, it would be a 1.00 note at best.

Here is the real question, however: What does the overstamp on the face say? It cannot be read in the picture. These notes were overstamped for use in a number of places at the end of WWI including Yugoslavia (See P-9), Fiume (See PS-115) and other areas in the Balkans. If the round stamp on this note is the Savoyan coat of arms for Fiume, for example, it is a rare note as that is the how the price is listed in the Pick catalog for that overprint -- Rare.

It may also be a bank stamp or something entirely meaningless.
