The 1915 weighs 3.5 grams, I assume the 1907 weighs about the same but haven't taken it out yet. The 07 is a bit scratched up, but the 15 appears AU at minimum & seems prooflike. Any idea on the purity & if any numismatic value, or just intrinsic?
I'll be posting the 1897 $10 matron head & the 1986 $50 gold piece in another thread.
    Thank you!

Was your 1915 in a bezel as well? I have one in a bezel and wanted to know if I should leave it alone or try and take it out. Sorry, I am new to this and do not know its value.

The 15 was in a 2x2 holder. I see nothing wrong with removing them if it is a screw type bezel. It takes special skills to remove from a soldered bezel or a clamp/crimp type. Also worth noting, the bezel will protect the surfaces of the coin to a degree as they stick out a bit further than the relief.

The 1907 is a common date that even in MS condition is only valued as bullion. The 1915 is a re-strike also valued as bullion. The fact that both have been used as jewelry only confirms no value beyond bullion.

Only the 07 was in a bezel, I found on Numista that they are both .900 fine though. Thanks for the replies.
