I've been looking through 2013 Uncirculted Mint Sets for coins to send in for grading, and, any errors. This one stuck out like a sore thumb. I've seen many a struck through mark on Dollars, but, this is the biggest to date. Too bad PCGS charges 55 bucks to label errors..may just Anacs it.

NGC charges $15 for Error service plus the tier charge for grading. If you're submitting a 5-coin minimum for grading via Modern tier, the one error coin would cost $30.

ANAC's charges $7.00 for attribution if you know what is beforehand, an additional fee for research if you don't. That looks like it was struck through foreign matter, probably a metal chip. I have found many of these in the 200P FY Lincoln Cents.

If it's struck-through debris, and it looks to be, it happened when the die was struck into the planchet and not when the blank was struck. The hair inside the "divot," second photo, is the "tell."
