Nice looking Merc. I'd give it an XF45

 

AU-55 decent luster and since you put it in the (WIW forum)I'd say around $2-$4.

 

AU-Details. There are tiny scratches indicative of being cleaned.

To me, looks cleaned but not worn. Nice coin.

 

I think the scratches are the distractors, and not from bag marks, so it knocks it down. The wear is minimal on the obverse as it has a weak strike, but not showing much wear from circulation. The most likely places on the reverse are also showing marks and scratches, with the middle ribbon (most commonly worn as the highest point) possibly a weak strike, but more likely from circulation wear. I'm just guessing, but I'd say it might reach AU55.

 

Sold one very similar at the coin club meeting for $8 last month, and both were happy.
