How would you go about it?

    I have a proof coin that I believe may be a new veriety. No matter how hard I've tried, I can't get a decent photo to post. If you thought that you may have a new veriety, how or where would you go with it?

    An excellent resource is here http://www.varietyvista.com/. Dr. James Wiles would be a great place to start. You can send the coin to him, he will examine it and determine if it is in fact a new variety.

    I had him examine and attribute a 1913-D DDR Type 1 Buffalo Nickel that I discovered.
