I just found out what this coin was yesterday and someone said if it's real, It could be worth good money. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHINA-YUNNA...World_Coins&hash=item3f12e870eb#ht_589wt_1058 Is there anything I can look for to see if it's a fake?
The first things you can do would be to accurately measure the diameter & weight. Also, you could see it is attracted to a magnetic. You previously mentioned that it was tested by someone as being almost pure silver but check & see if it sticks to the magnet on your electric can-opener. Also, whatever you do DO NOT CLEAN IT IN ANY MANNER.
The legends on the second side appear somewhat thinner and are spaced farther in some parts when compared to slabbed genuine examples. I'm not sure if there are variations for this coin, but I have not heard of such variations and this discrepancy is common for copies.
