If one were to say, have an early release "W" quarter, how would one go about submitting it if one doesn't have a PCGS membership...All theoretical of course :)

You could have someone who is a member submit it for you or join yourself.

Here is a link to the First Strike requirement. I think early release is the term NGC uses.

In looking at the requirement list I don't see any quarters minted at West point included.

Sounds like all you need is someone to submit it for you in the time frame allowed.......or join with the membership at the lowest level that allows you submission privileges.

I called PCGS and they said that they already have submissions for the new ATB quarter but that it doesn't qualify for the $2000 prize since it is before the release date. If I wanted to qualify for the prize, they would need to receive it on/after Monday, 04 November. Think they are worth sending in? or nah?

I agree. But I sure could use the $2000...

If you found one of the Idaho quarters you should send it in for the $2000 finders fee. Yesterday.

    How many do you have?

I would send it in for the finders fee alone.

The only thing is, you have to be the first one. If multiple people get in at the same time, then the money gets split between all of them. I have a feeling that PCGS will be inundated with these on Monday. Not sure if it is worth the money to send or not.

Yes it's worth joining to send and to send them tomorrow. The finders fee and sales prices will more than cover membership fee
