I've got about 20 Roman coins that I don't know the Emperor represented. What is the best way to find out who is on the coin? I have had a hard enough time finding data on the coins when I do know the Emperor. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Jony
Posting pictures would help the most and letting us telling you them. It could be some of the legends of your coins may be off center so IDing would be harder for you. We also dont know if you have imperials or Provincial, which use different types of lettering.
As Mat says, post images so we can help. Generally speaking, many times the portraits are identifiable in and of themselves, but the legends are the most telling.
