The horse looks just like our Halflinger Alex when he is getting ready to roll, one of his favorite activities. Below, he is checking out a friend's dogs in the car. Alex and Dogs 02.jpg

Many Larissa silvers including the OP coin and mine below show signs of crystallization so require care not to drop on hard surfaces.

I know there is a preference for big coins but Larissa has some nice minor silver. too. Below is an obol.

Ah, yes - I met my Larissa at a coin fair in Dublin in February 2010 - our eyes met across the table. Someone else had his grubby mitts on her, so I did a lap of the room and returned a few minutes later. She was alone, the other suitor had been rejected! I quickly scooped her up, along with a lovely Chios hemidrachm and paid over the dowry (it should have worked the other way, but still)

Here she is - nose a bit flattened, but still gorgeous :D

Great coins at all. The OP coin it's really neat, despite Cyrano de Bergerac's nose!:troll:

I've always liked the variety with the foal and managed to win one earlier this year.

Also showing crystallization are my hemidrachm and obol.

I definitely need to add a Larrisa to my collection. Love the artistic style on these. I've had my eye on a few but never pulled the trigger.
