A 1963 US proof set, a 1988 US proof set are the sum of my US proofs. Then theres the US-Philippines - a proof 1903 half centavo (cleaned) and a proof 1904 centavo. That's about it.

About 10-19 at the moment, sold a bunch awhile back unfortunatly. Love proof coins though, especially the older ones. Much nicer IMHO than the ones today.

I don't know why, but I really don't like proof sets.
I guess it just seems like cheating, in a way.
    Yeah, I'm weird.

The only proof sets I have are the ones I bought for the kids and the wife for their birth years.....1971,1992, 1995 and 2001. The year I was born the mint didnt have a proof set, it was a special mint set, 1965. I also have last years (2007) proof sets, regular and silver. I dont own any individual proof coins. Like rotobeast, I dont really care for them either, unless they're cameo Franklins of course. I do like those but dont own any.

All the sets since 1956 to present plus some Silver sets and a '06 Gold Buffalo (My Fav) and some single coins and 5-06 ASE 20anniv sets(w/2 proofs in each). I like proofs for their beauty and clarity.

some times to many sometimes not enough. a lot depends on if you have to move them.

I prefer a few nice coins to a mountain of lesser ones. I go for proof type coins. Got some pretty cool ones.

I did not stop to think - did you mean proof sets or singles? Actually now that I think about either way I have more than 90, unless of course you don't count proof bullion coins. I do have a couple of proof IHC and shield nickels.

i didnt want to actually count each individual coin, so i counted each proof set as 1 :D either way, i think the numbers posted should be under 100, 100-200, 200-300 lol i think most of us have more then 90 :p

As many of you know, I like AG/G coins, but I have a 1979, 1987 and 1976 proof set and boy, they sure are pretty. Every once in a while, I'll pull them out and just admire them.

are you sure they are proof, or just uncirculated? as far as i know they did not make proofs that year. as far as my proofs i only have a 1964 proof set and a 1971S silver proof ike dollar.
