That is one beautiful coin..... amazingly well struck. I am clueless as to the price.... I just wanted to comment on it's beauty.

    That's a great one!!!
I too can't help with the price but for one that nice it'd be much money.
Just wait for Zohar to chime in he'll have a good idea.

Lovely coin though you would be hard pressed to sell it for much over 1000 if that...just my opinion.

It looks like the one that caught my eye at an upcoming auction. Unfortunately, it is already up to about $2,000 and there are 22 people tracking it.

Some lucky person will get it (not me).

I guess we are looking at the same coin up for auction. The coin is fantastic but wow over 2 grand!!! The only knock on the coin is that the lines in the armor on his shoulder is a bit smooth.

I stand corrected...I guess someone would buy that for over 1,000. I have seen many like it valued at auction for so much but they never (almost never) come even close.

Realistically, it's probably a $1,400 coin. At almost $2,200 right now, it is well into the area an MS65 could be purchased. It does appear to have superb luster which is probably helping the price, but it is much higher than I believe it should be. Even though it is exceptional condition, it is not that rare to find.

I have tracked that one myself and am amazed that it has carried such a price. I recently purchased an MS-65 piece (image doesnt do it justice) and comparably feel it was a bargain -
