alot of them look to be around face or slightly above.

    $2 1953 b * CGA 67 - would be worth more then face :)
$1 1963b * Barr note SF didtrict mint condition - would as well depending on its true condition
    $10 2004a #77777777 I think Chicago district. - would fetch a heavy premium i would think

those are the notes i think are worth over face. I dotnhave my US book with me, so i could be slightly off, but all the other note are to new with nothing super special about them to claim a huge premium.

good luck! Post pics if you can :)

Wow. I have been checking ebay & some of these go for double what the standard catalog says. Some only half.
$1 2003 repeater notes in ch unc g0 for 8 -20 times face.
$20 2006 similiar numbers as I have go for 2-5 times face in unc
$2 2003A STAR ( THE ONLY STAR I BELIEVE) go for 25-30 times face
    $2 1953B star book says $100, go for $40 -$65
$2 1976 Minnesota and kansas Stars ( Unc) go for $100 & $75 respectably ( half of book value)
$1 1963b SF star goes for 15- 30 times face in un
$10 2004A notes and numbers similiar to what I have go for 3-10 times face

IS THERE A REASONABLE GUIDE TO FIND OUT THE GOING RATES OF NOTES. i AM A WILLING BUYER NOT A SELLER. I NEVER LIKE TO PAY MORE THAN ITS WORTH. I HAVE SOME OLDER STUFF i WILL BE SELLING & WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT (ABOUT) what they may be worth.

I know a guide is a guide. Is green sheet best? I plan to certify some , so that there are no problems. Which is the top three grading companies?

    TIA CLAW

There are no "guides" for things such as repeaters and radars.

I think you've done what you need to do. Your local coin dealer probably isn't interested in most of it.

Do what you did. Check E-Bay for similar items. It's the world's coin/currency market.

I'm guessing the best place to get the best price for currency is on e-bay (unless you've got something super special). So just check e-bay. That is your price guide.

because of the time it takes to assemble all the data, print it, distribute it, have people buy it, and so on ... any price data collected is way out of date. Even online price guides take alot of time. the best place to get up to date semi-accurate pricing are the auction houses. Ebay (losely), Heritage, Teletrade. and others. Any recently closed auction will give you the best guage for 'current market value'.

If interested in selling or knowing their value, go to a large coin show and just go around to the main currency dealers and see what they say or offer. But use that information to make a decision on the value. Just remember that dealers only give you about 60% of real value or lower if the feel you do not know anything about currency. Before you go, if you can, Check on some of the books or mags on currency: Bank Note Reporter, Paper Money Values, and Numismatic News. Look at ths Standard Guide to Small -Size U. S. Paper Money (current book) will give you more insight into currency. :)-O)
