I would like to know some information below:

    • How many coin collectors are there in US alone?

    • How much is the whole coin business worth annually?

    • How much a full time coin dealer make on average annually?

Any reference provided with the answers is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    #1....millions
    #2.... billions
#3.... depends on the dealer. Somewhere from $0-millions

The most important lesson that I learned in college was this:

It doesn't matter if you know the answer if you know where to find it.

The answer to your first question is available through the American Numismatic Association.

The 2nd question is probably only know by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States

and your last question truly depends on the dealer. I have seen them make lots of money, and I have seen many lose money.

  5. According to HSN, 150 million Americans collect coins. That is more likely the number of Americans who have ever had a state quarter in their possession. :D TC

    Unknown....

There are many collectors like me who don't talk about their collections to anyone.
My son and my g/f know but that's it, and that's the way I prefer it.
