for a pro seller to post so bad pictures: or: I was looking the sale organized by this Italian company and was struck by the very low quality of the pictures... it seems they (mis)use a filter. I was wondering how it is possible in the 21st century for a pro company? for the curious:https://www.numisbids.com/n.php?p=sale&sid=1550
I've often wondered the same thing. Lots of firms have poor photography and it makes you wonder how they get so many consignments. With the Italian market things are limited but here in the U.S., why not choose CNG or Berk over Heritage, when you know your photos will be markedly better.
Wow. Very very bad! You would think SOMEONE in the company could do better.. and bring it to their attention.
People will buy from these images. Why hire someone when your janitor can do it? It is not the camera but the lighting or more precisely the person who set them up.
These are bad but still far from the worst I've seen. There is a lot of poor seller photography from people who call themselves professionals, and I really don't understand it. It's easy to get good photos. What's even more common, especially on a venue such as VCoins, is the small clickable image that's supposed to enlarge, but clicking only brings up the same small image in a new window, or else one only very slightly larger. I do not buy from these lazy pros who are not interested in my user experience; I am happy to let their inventories languish.
That's what I think too, but if I can't get a good sense of the coin I won't go for it. I'll let someone else take the risk if bargain hunting is that important to them.
