ok I have been working on this now for several years and there is no reason why I should be overpay for anything if I am. and the majority of the stuff I need is all common placed coinage /modern.. im building a certified Lincoln set as I like to put it my Legacy set. this set will go to my daughter , then unto her first born. I currently have 155 or such coins an a bunch of anacs & icg stuff not mentioned mostly oddities and errors. which equals about 53-55% . am trying to complete this thing before I lose my love for collecting.. which I hope I never do or something worse happens. I have slowed down tremendously because of a medical issue... if I was back to work id be buying up a storm.. but still not done with it.. would anyone know where I can get the 70's 1980's and 90's certified just to fill slots @ms 64 or better for cheap?? edited - forum rules my Legacy set
There are, of course, a bazillion of them on ebay. However, most of these are proof issues. It would seem that a business strike, late date Lincoln cent in low grade MS (MS64 or MS65) would stand little chance to be submitted because of the costs of certification vs. value. A quick glance at ebay, though reveals coins such as a PCGS MS64RD 1977-D for a BIN of $2 or a PCGS MS65RD 1968-S for $9. Good luck.

It's also nice that you are building this for your daughter, but I would not count on having it later passed on to her first born unless she already has a first born that will get the collection shortly.
