i bought 5 1971 p&D uncirculated mint set and going through them i noticed that i was seeing error's in the nickels of the P's. on th R of the coin and it's all on the main door of Monticello looks doubled but then i got in to the D's and i have 1 that is that same as the P's and i then looked at the mint mark and there is no D on the nickel in the mint cello this one is the no D this on is in the blue cello i have 3 of them cr
Looks like you have some normal, run-of-the-mill unc mint sets from what I can gather from your pics. Your decription isnt exactly coherent. I wouldn't lose sleep over these coins if I were you.
ok now it's not about damage i can see that it's about the nickel in the Denver mint set that has no D mint mark and it's about the 5 pilli mint set's < o get it < that have close to the same error as the No D DENVER now the NO D mint set pic and i didn;t know this was gramer schole
@Even what don't u get from my post i am asking is it possible to tamper with mint sets. i have 5 pilli mint set with the same R error and another Denver mint set that has NO MINT MARK D on it. with the same error as the 5 piili's, plz look at the first pic and zoom in you can see that the cello is redlined and that all the other coin's in the cello has the D mint mark on it except the nickel the package does not appear to be tampered with but this is my first uncirculated mint set and yes i know they look like run-of-the-mill unc mint sets ITs the nickel with NO D in a mint set that should have all D coin's in it
