I was just doing some research online and couldn’t find any info on ways that people might store or protect their old DH flips.
I would think people take special care to protect them since the value is really in the flip rather than the coin inside.
Right now I own one and just stick it in one of the slots in a PCGS box. It’s an ok place to store it. I imagine there’s a better way to do it but can’t think of anything.

How do you all store those old flips?

When I had mine I just kept it in a box (I believe it was a metal box). Nothing happened to it although I wasn't too worried about it back then since the coin wasn't very special.

I believe your method is fine as long as you aren't seeing noticeable changes in the coin or the flip.

    If it's a 2x2 flip, store it in a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 flip.
