...one of those plastic holders that a proof comes in. I have a 1982 GW Commem in one, with no box and no COA, so I want to get the coin out and put it in my Dansco 7070 type set album in the Commemorative Halves section.

How do you do it safely?

    THANKS!

Did you try holding the sides of the holder and twisting it?

It works on the proof set lenses. Just twist until you hear the seal on the holder pop and crack.

OK, seriously....I've tried everything and cannot get this sucker out. I've chiped and ruined the plastic over, which doesn't bother me as long as I can get the coin out without damaging it. I've tried a sharp knife edge, twisting, etc............help
