.......I don't mean how do you actually count how many coins you have but more like for your collections.

Do you count your 1909-S VDB Lincoln in your penny collection and your type set?

Do you use your cleaned but beautiful example of an 1892 Barber half on your year specific type set and your US types set?

    I'm curious!

I like to have things organized and complete. So I try to keep everything separate so I can show completed collections without having to grab from some other storage where the coin in question is in its main set.

    What do you guys do?

All my sets are albums except my shield nickels and two cent set. Shield nickels cause I like the varieties. Other than that the Large Cents, IHC, Lincolns, and liberty nickels are in dasco albums. The first 3 are pretty much complete - a few to go, but not many. So I really do not have to search for anything.
