How do you add an avatar below your name?

I want an avatar on here so it's not just my name. The picture below shows an example. How do I do that? Thanks!

Go to your settings.... Look to the left of the screen... You should see, "my profile" heading. Look under that and there will be a listing that says "Edit Avatar". Then it will bring you to a screen where you may upload an avatar.

At the very right hand top of page where is says welcome Alex491, go right to Settings, and click on it. Then when your page comes up go to left hand side and find the section,My Settings, 4th one down is Avatar. Click and then you have to follow directions. I think best is to upload from your computer as then it is here, in case an image site url changes.
