How do we get the mint to make a Silver Unc Set?

I'd love that as a option, but also in that set and the silver proof set mandate that the pennies be copper as they are this year. So we would have the following options:

Reg Uncir Set: Zinc penny, nickle, Clad dime, quarter, half-dollar
Silver Uncirc Set: Copper penny, nickle, Silver dime, quarter, half-dollar

and repeat above but in proof.

Any thoughts on how to get this passed?

The U.S. Mint isn't interested in what collectors want. They have politically correct panels reccomend to them what collectors want. Unfortunatley, these people don't know their heads from a hole in the ground. So we get boring presidents and their spouces for coinage.

I thought it was congress that decided what and how much to make, not the mint.

That pretty much sums up why most of our modern coinage doesn’t turn any heads, well, except for the type of people that like to turn their head to check out a car wreck on the side of the road. :p
