from what I have heard, if a bill was printed on this very day, it would be dated 2013. Is that how it works? I have also read that millions of dollar bills are printed every day. Why do we not see 2017 dates?

The series date doesn't change unless there is an actual change to the notes, such as, but not limited to, the signatures of the Treasurer or Secretary of the Treasury.

Ok so does that mean that we will see "2013" notes until there is a change such as that?

With the new President naming his own Treasurer and Secretary, we will most likely see series 2017 notes.

Good catch. I just figured since it showed the dates of printing on the chart for the 2013 series it would show what when and where.
