So I have a lot of possible experimental rinse (ER) Sac dollars and im wondering how to identify them. Ill post pictures
Here are the pictures, each pocture is a different dollar The last picture is a normal sacagawea dollar for comparison
Imo your coins look like they just got dirty circulating. I think most of the experimental rinse were pulled from mint rolls, etc and never actually circulated. I'm not sure how they would hold up or even look it they did circulate or how you'd be able to tell they were one after circulating for awhile. http://www.smalldollars.com/dollar/add002.html
I honestly wasn't sure what I was getting into clicking on this link... yours appear to be circulated coins.
Those coins look like 99% of the Sacs I've found. The manganese alloy used was notorious for developing a nasty oxidation from just light circulation, which is a possible reason why the public didn't like them - because they looked so terrible!
