You won't be able to obtain a 30 year mortgage at 3%. What you are looking for is a loan. I'm not sure they would do that for a coin. If they did, it would probably be 6% or higher depending on your credit score and income.

I guess 30 years mortgage is too long. No company will give you taht kind of deal. I would suggest make it shorter. Around 20 years will be okay.

30 years mortgage on a house is the norm though, it's the 3% they'd have a problem with. Anyone that actually or is serious about taking out a loan to buy a coin is making a very stupid decision in my opinion. ;)

I put the 25th anniversary silver eagle sets on plastic- over all it worked for me.

btw that coin really should not exist in that condition- it is an absolute fluke

Well, had you invested in windmill technology instead of Facebook, you could have bought ten of those coins and still had enough left over for a modest 90 foot boat. Live and learn.

I don't want that coin anyway. It's obviously been over dipped.

I would very strongly disagree with that statement. Sure, the coin has likely been dipped to remove toning which would naturally appear on this coin. However, anyone who has seen an over dipped coin knows that it strips the coin of it's luster. Based on the photos...this coin has very nice luster. Therefore, it has not been over dipped.

It also have a big fat scratch on it.

If you are referring to what appears to be a scratch across the obverse...I'm not sure. At first glance I thought it was on the coin because it looks like it digs into the star at 5 o'clock. But, as it goes across the face of the coin...I don't see any movement in the scratch as it goes over other devices. It appears completely unaffected by them. I therefore believe it is a scratch on the plastic and the effect we see on the star is due to light reflecting off the scratched plastic. But...to be sure I would want to inspect the coin in hand.

The coin also has a nice die crack on the reverse...which I personally like. Gives it character.

    Even so...I think it's a nice coin. And nothing I can't fix. ;)

Her hair is falling out and she is cross eyed. Nobody wants a coin like that.

BUT - if you do $45,000 worth of implants and orthodontic work on her, you might get a deep discount on the price of the coin.
