    mali,
It's another fantasy coin that sombody made probably just as a fun novelty. The Obverse is based on the US Indian Head cent design of 1859-1909 but the reverse is nothing like any American coin.
Where are you getting these pieces from?

That's also some sort of fantasy piece. The obverse (your second picture) is based off an indian-head cent. The reverse... that looks mostly homemade, though a wreath of one sort or another is a fairly common device.

    Interesting none the less.

Where are you getting these oddities from?

Not an official U.S. issue, but still interesting. Can you tell what metal it is made of? The Indian side looks copper(ish), but the other side looks like silver or nickel.

    09svdb...it's probably just the lighting.

just as u said it is interesting,I think it is made of copper(ish) I have not tested it yet,I do'nt know what to say ,the guy who showed me this do'snt knowanything about the history,as to where he got it, he told me he got this from Mogadishou museum.
I have never been there so I can not make any genuiene varification as to how it got to mogadishou museum either.

You might wanna look again Mik :) Gold Dollar

I agree, it is not a genuine coin. It looks like some of the fake stuff that comes out of Asia.

Although the clarity isn't as good when Mali's pic is opened, but in looking at the two the wreath's seem to be different, so therefore I would concur that the coin is a fake.

I would even go so far as to say that the pictures are actually two different coins.
