Rev: Mare with foal, both standing right; ΛAPIΣ above, AIΩN in exergue.

Now, that is cool. Not seen one with Mare and Foal. I really like that!

Hardly ancient but I like the simplicity of the horse drawn with minimal lines on this 3.5g AE jital from Sind of Nasir al-din Qarlugh, 1249-1259 AD
As I understand it the obverse legend is Arabic while the reverse is Nagari.

 

I like that minimalist horse! Very cool.

Obverse: Bearded head right; dolphin behind.
