Im planning on going to the 2015 January FUN show in Florida. The largest show I've ever been to was the ANA shows in Dallas and New Orleans. From what I have read the FUN show is much larger than the ANA shows. Any seasoned vets want to share knowledge to a first time FUN show attendee?

    Thanks!

It's a great show and I plan on attending as well. Wear comfortable shoes because you're gonna be doing a lot of walking......huge bourse area. Plan on attending multiple days because there's just too much to see in one. Bring pen and paper to mark down the locations of dealers who show potential for your needs. Trying to commit them to memory doesn't work.......been there, done that.

I'll have a table there . . . great show for buying anything you need. If you're selling, I recommend leaving common stuff at home. You'll probably get more for it at your LCS, and it will weigh you down if you bring it. If you have rare coins to sell, definitely bring them, as you'll find many eager buyers, and at real prices.

It truly is a tremendous show. I suggest you attend the first couple of days that the show is open to the public to get first collector crack at coins on the bourse floor. Attend the platinum night Heritage auction to witness the big coins go off the board (and eat some free food), go to lot viewing even if nothing there attracts you so you can continue to observe lots of graded coins to enhance your own grading skills, attend some of the specialty club meetings in your areas of interest, and enjoy the "winter" weather of FL!

Awesome advice here . Thanks! Also, I assume there isn't an issue in bringing in a small booksack? Id like to place the brochures, busines cards, etc... in there rather than tote them around in a bag.

FUN is great. The off-ANA shows (Dallas, New Orleans) are much smaller and less busy than FUN. You may bring a backpack or other similar bag without issue.
